Miranda Russ- Diversity in Technology

 Dr. Chien Shiung Wu also known as the First Lady of physics, contributed a lot to the Manhattan project which was going on during World War Two which produced the first nuclear weapons. She attend school in China but her mentor encouraged her to continue to pursue her education in American since she was the top of her class and seemed to have a knack for technology and physics. Her uncle funded her trip to America, which her family was part of her inspiration to continue on as they were very supportive. Her father even started a school for girls to receive an education which at the time was uncommon.
